Spring 1 - OPAL Platinum Award!
We have achieved the highest OPAL award, the Platinum. This is an amazing achievement and we are all very proud. The difference it has made to children's play, outside experiences, well-being and behaviour has been fantastic. We shared the news with the parents and children at our stay and play event on the last day of term, where Rachel Murray from OPAL, presented our award.
Autumn 2 - Christmas is here!
Children across the school have loved sharing Christmas cheer with the school and our families. It was wonderful to be together to celebrate at such a special time of year. Well done to Reception for their nativity, KS1 for their play, 'Christmas with the aliens' and KS2 for their Carol Concert.

Spring 1 - Thank you FORS!
We are so pleased that thanks to FORS and the kind donations from parents, we have a brand new water/weatherproof sail on our top playground. This has been an instant hit with the children and we will be making good use of it throughout the year.
Autumn 2 - Children in Need
This November, as part of the fundraising appeal, Paddy McGuinness is gearing up for a challenge like no other: a 300-mile ride across three nations on a classic Chopper bike! It’s not just about Paddy though – it’s also about us! We took on our very own challenge-on-wheels. Across the week, each class and the staff team, rolled at least 300 miles around our top playground to create a fantastic whole school total of 2400 miles! On Friday 15th November we went spotty with our clothing and made a donation to Children in Need. We were delighted that BBC Radio Gloucestershire came to school to interview SLT and three members of Pupil Parliament, bringing Pudsey with them!
Autumn 2 - Splash of Colour!
As a celebration of the children's fantastic start to their new year groups and to bring colour to the season, we invited families in to school to join with our 'Splash of Colour' event. Families worked together using chalks to create floor art inspired by sesonal events such as fireworks, Diwali, colourful ideas from nature or even vibrant patterns. This was a fantastic event; it was great to see so many families engaged and our playground looked amazing!
