Parental Engagement

Our Parental Engagement events enrich our curriculum, strengthen relationships and create lasting memories for our families.

Our most recent Parental Engagement event took place in January. Parents and carers were welcomed into school to make bird feeders and other bird related crafts as part of the RSBP Big Garden Bird Watch.

RSPB Big Garden Bird Watch

Year 2 Class Zoo July 2026

Year 2 invited their parents into school for a trip to the ‘zoo’. Following on from our trip to Cotswold Wildlife Park and writing all about their chosen animals, the children had to create their own costumes, design enclosures and show off their best acting skills in role as their chosen animals. We had a wide range of animals on offer, from red pandas to anacondas to bats.

I was very happy with my costume and loved being able to slither

I loved pretending to be a red panda and climbing in my enclosure.

I enjoyed seeing my Mum and Dad looking like they were at the zoo.
